Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Canada--Ontario--Toronto

Job Description:

  • Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expenses including   coding and data entry
  • Timely and professional response to vendor inquiries regarding any payment issues
  • Regular cheque processing
  • Month-End reporting of Accounts Payable statistics
  • Maintenance and administration of Accounts Payable records
  • Assist with month end general ledger activities
  • Negotiate with vendors for more favorable payment arrangements
  • Filing and some administrative tasks
Required Skills:
  •  Must have a post-secondary education in accounting
  •  Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar position
  •  Intermediate level computer skills; including Microsoft Word, Excel and AccPac
  •  Excellent attention to detail; energetic, strong organizational skills and must be deadline driven
  •  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
